Kae Murphy is a Grammy winning trumpet player based in Toronto, Canada. In addition to touring regularly with BADBADNOTGOOD, they have also performed with Whitney, Immanuel Wilkins, Julius Rodriguez, and more. Recorded collaborations also include Turnstile, Hayley Williams, Blood Orange, and Shabaka. Kae performs regularly around Toronto with personal jazz and fusion projects, as well as local staples Lavender Town, Heavyweights Brass Band and Shout the Band.

 

Kae plays on the no. 70 Aurora model trumpet, formerly the no. 4 prototype and has been playing Divitt trumpets since 2016.
